My research topics mainly focus on problems related to Structure from Motion (SfM), Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) ,scale space analysis and computer vision applications for Intelligent Vehicles and Intelligent Transportation systems.

Nowadays, I am also working in non-rigid real-time dense SLAM for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) applications and in related computer vision problems.

The topic of my PhD thesis, was the design of a vision-based localization and mapping system that can help visually impaired users and humanoid robots for navigation and daily tasks.
